Donatus Anusionwu is a Managing Director on the Investments team, where he focuses on private equity, private credit, and other related strategies within the media and entertainment sectors. In his role, Donatus seeks uncorrelated investment opportunities and leverages his extensive expertise in capital structure advisory and structured credit execution to drive value for the firm’s portfolio.

Previously, Donatus served as Senior Director of Structured Finance for White Oak Merchant Partners, where he was responsible for originating, structuring, and executing middle-market private capital (debt & structured equity) transactions, as well as portfolio investments for White Oak’s private debt funds and securitization (ABS) transactions. Prior to that, he held roles at Morgan Stanley, specializing in alternative capital solutions, including debt and equity private placements, and at J.P. Morgan, where he was a Vice President in TMT Corporate & Investment Banking.

Donatus received a B.S. in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA with concentrations in Corporate Finance and Financial Accounting from Columbia Business School. He holds the Series 7, 63, and 79 FINRA licenses. Additionally, Donatus is a U.S. Army combat veteran decorated with the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service while deployed to Ar Ramadi, Iraq.
